Are you in search of the exact “prism overlay for Photoshop” that I use to create stunning images like the one at the top? I have the exact copy, but instead of an activation code, I have a serial key. The serial key allows me to activate or disable Photoshop “Prism Overlay” at any time I want.
How did I manage to obtain a “free” copy? It was available as an “Prism overlay free download” on several websites over the internet during the time that Photoshop CS2 was in its “olds”. The code was available to download at absolutely no cost! I suppose it is an example of a pre-sale marketing and promotion tool, but I’m unable to say that it was an “free” promotion. To be honest, a significant portion of those who received the “free” CD set wound up spending quite a bit of money to correct the issues that plagued installation of the software that came with the CD with the prism overlay software.
The issue with the effect of freebokeh was that it was unable to display correctly on printers of higher quality. In other words it would show as gray instead prism overlay png of being white. This meant that the picture I wanted to use in my “free photoshop action” would appear very blemished or even black when printed. I would then need to go back into Photoshop to correct the image or re-scale the image to print correctly. Oh, well, it was free, wasn’t?
I have tried many free bokeh overlays in Adobe Photoshop, but found one that works well on my ink jet printer as well as my computer. It’s called Photoshop RealUI. It can be downloaded from Adobe’s website. After installation, select “bokeh overlays” from the “effects dropdown menu, and then click “OK”.
The only drawback to the free photoshop application is that you must select the image you want to overlay and click “choose from list”. That’s all there is to this amazing program. Anyone who wants to learn the free photoshop action and has many png images to explore, I recommend it strongly. For example, you can make a simple flower with red as the color and then add a black and white image to add depth. This is just one of the many options that are available in this program.
